Terms and Conditions

All dealings including all quotations and any other order placed following such quotation are subject to the following conditions of sale in which Foodcare Systems Ltd is referred to as ‘the Company’.

No order received from a customer by the Company and no purported variation of these terms shall constitute a contract until accepted in writing by the Company.  The company reserves the right to refuse any order, including subsequent to the sending of an order acknowledgement email.

1. Prices 

Prices quoted by the Company are current, however, we reserve the right to make adjustments due to currency fluctuations, raw material or factory increases. 

Prices exclude VAT.


2. Delivery

Delivery periods and dates are given in good faith, but are not the subject of any warranty or condition, and time shall not be of the essence of the contract in these respects. 

Whilst every endeavor is made to deliver in accordance to the given schedule, no liability will attach to the Company if delivery periods or dates are not met for any reason whatsoever.

An order confirmation will be emailed to you on placement of your order.

Please advise us of any non-delivery within 5 working days from confirmed delivery date and confirm in writing to enable us to claim under the carrier’s terms.  


2.1     Delivery Times

Standard delivery is generally 3-5 working days from receipt of order confirmation, unless otherwise advised.  

Delivery schedules are subject to availability of stock.  


Our standard times of delivery are: 

8.30am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday


2.2     Carriage Charges 

Standard Delivery Charges - £5.95  
Free Delivery on orders over £50  

Orders to be delivered to N. Ireland and other UK island locations will be priced on order. 


3. Returns Policy

Any shortage or damage on delivery should be reported by telelphone immediately to the Company and confirmed in writing within 48 hours. 

No claims for damage in transit will be considered after this period or for damaged boxes not signed as such to the carrier.

If you receive your order in good condition, but you consider any item to be unsuitable, you may return it for a refund providing you do so within 3 days of receipt and the item is returned in its original condition and original undamaged packaging.  

Returns must be confirmed with a ‘Returns Authorisation Number’, the Foodcare sales office will issue this. 

Cost of returning goods is the responsibility of the purchaser.  The Company reserve the right to levy a 25% restocking charge for cancelled or unwanted orders.


4. Warranty

Manufacturers policy applies unless otherwise agreed.  Please contact the Foodcare sales office for details, should you require them.


5. Payment 

Approved credit account customers shall pay in full strictly 30 days from date of invoice.  

If payment is not made on or before the due date, the Company reserves the right to charge interest at 2.5% per month on overdue balances plus additional expenses and costs to recover goods or unpaid invoices.

We accept Visa and MasterCard.

All goods supplied will remain the property of the Company until paid for in full.


6. Privacy Policy

Personal information provided to the Company is treated with the utmost security and confidentiality. 

In order for us to process an order on the website, send you a catalogue or other relevant information, we require certain pieces of information, such as postal address, email, telephone number, your credit card details and expiry date or bank account details. 

The Company uses the relevant information along with our suppliers and sub-contractors to provide you with the service you have requested and to communicate with you on any matter relating to the provision of the service.  We may also use aggregate information and statistics for the purposes of monitoring web site usage in order to help us develop the web site and our service and may provide such aggregate information to third parties, such as our web development agency. 

These statistics will not include information that can be used to identify any individual. 

We and our group of companies may also wish to provide you with information about special features of our web site or any special service or products which we think may be of interest to you.  We may provide this information by post or email.


7. Secure Online Shopping

To enhance security we do not hold any payment details that you submit to us. Payments are made via PayPal.

Verified by Visa (VbV) and MasterCard SecureCode (MSC) often referred to as 3D Secure or Payment Authentication, and are the latest fraud prevention initiatives launched by the card issuers as a more secure method for authenticating you the cardholder at the time of the transaction. Both schemes work in the same way - by using personal passwords, set by the cardholder, to protect you when you shop online.

The instructions that you see on the payment screens are coming directly from your card issuer.


8. How we protect your information

We encrypt all of your personal information, including credit or debit card numbers, name and address so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet. 

We do this through our secure server software (SSL), which is the industry standard software for secure ecommerce transactions.
